Recently, the Romanian energy sector faced cumbersome Government decisions with serious consequences on its stability and predictability towards investors. However, the dynamic of energy regulations has always been challenging and rigorous thought must be given. 

In this unforeseeable legal context, our mission is to provide energy license holders advice, both from a legal and business perspective, to cover all issues arising from the energy business, regulatory or transactional. Our area of expertise includes oil and gas sectors (upstream, midstream, downstream), energy and power generated from renewable sources (transmission, generation, distribution, supply and trading), renewable support schemes, green certificates and other type of natural resources exploitation.

We offer advice in the following matters:

• power and gas regulatory matters with ANRE with respect to obtaining licenses (transmission, generation, distribution, supply and trading);
• accreditation as producer of energy from renewable sources green certificates;
• agreements concluded with OPCOM on regulated energy markets;
• regulatory matters in relation to agreements concluded with ANRM;
• transactions pertaining to transfer of energy licenses.
